Benefit performance presided over by Dr.S.Radhakrishnan, Rajaji and Countess Mountbatten
Benefit_CR@M_batten_sm.jpg (19033 bytes) The VIPs at the top are Bharat Ratna Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, ex President of India; Countess Lady Mountbatten and  the first head of the Indian Union, CR Rajagopalachari.

Seated in the audience (from right to left) are Mrs Kalki Krishnamurti, Bharat Ratna M.S.Subbulakshmia and Anandhi (Kalkis' daughter). To the other extreme, turning around is Radha (Sadhasivam's daughter). Sadasivam and Kalki were close friends and Tamil patriots of India. The latter was also the famous author of one of the most  coveted Tamil Magazines.
