Another shared event is MVRaman, the Film Producer and Director. He got Vyjayanthimala to act in her first film ,"Vazhkai". After that he approached Hema and before anything came of it, she got married !

"Vyjayanti
and I studied in Church Park Convent and she was a good friend of mine from 1941.We had
many things in common. We regularly participated in the school plays and we took the
main roles. Vyjayanti also learnt her dance initially from Vazhvoor Ramiah Pillai. We both
started teaching at the latter part of our lives and we still meet each other,and, are
